The tour departs from the City Hall before following the coastline from Copenhagen to Elsinore, passing through fashionable resorts and beautiful residential areas. As you cross the narrow strait between Elsinore and Helsingborg by ship, enjoy a fantastic view of Hamlet's Castle, Kronborg, from the sea. The trip across the sound takes approx. 20 minutes. When you arrive in Sweden, the drive continues through the city of Helsingborg, before arriving in Lund. Lund is a university city from the Middle Ages, founded in 1020 by the Danish King, Canute the Great. The city was the religious, cultural and commercial center of Scandinavia until the Reformation. Visit the Cathedral which has a magnificent 14th century astronomical clock and end up at the famous University of Lund. A break is included for lunch on your own. After lunch continue to Malmø, the largest city in Scandia and the third largest in Sweden. Here enjoy a short sightseeing tour and time for shopping. On the way back to Denmark cross the Sound once again, but this time on the magnificent bridge from Malmø to Copenhagen.
