Day 2: Spend the day exploring more of Helsinki.
Day 3: Travel by train to HämeenlinnaTravel by train to Hämeenlinna, where you transfer on your own to your lakeside hotel which is just minutes from the city centre. Take advantage of the hotel's wide choice of leisure activities or just stroll in the surrounding forest. While you are here be sure to visit the Häme Castle, which dates back to the end of the 13th century. Day 4: Depart by boat from the hotel pier to Tampere

Guided excursions can be arranged to the pristine evergreen forests or through the beautiful archipelago. The city itself offers a wide selection of museums, exhibitions, culture and shopping. Highlights include architectural gems of various styles and the Suomenlinna seat fortress built on six islands of the city shore. 
Depart by boat from the hotel pier to Tampere. During the lake cruise visit a famous sculpture's former home and studio, now a museum exhibiting a wide selection of the artist's work and those of his grandson, who is known as Finland's most celebrated political cartoonist. Disembark in the evening at the pier of your hotel in Tampere.
Take a break in the hotel's peaceful pine forest surroundings and enjoy spectacular views from an old red brick observation tower situated on top of the impressive Pyynikki Ridge. The city's sights, museums, shopping and nightlife are within a 10min bus ride.
Travel by train to Turku, Finland's first capital and home to some of the most remarkable medieval landmarks, including the open air museum at Luostarinmäki. Your hotel is located in the very heart of the city near the Market Square.
