Terms and Conditions
Deposit:
A deposit of 25% and a signed reservation form are required to confirm all bookings. This amount will be applied to your travel package. Once your booking has been confirmed $100 per person is non-refundable.
Final Payment:
Due 60 days prior to departure. Bookings made within 60 days of departure require full payment on a major credit card within 10 days of the booking. A $30 rush fee will be applied to any bookings made less than 30 days prior to departure.
Cancellations:
Cancellations must be in writing and received via fax or U.S. mail to Runic Travels, LLC. Such a written notice will be dated when received by Runic Travels. Cancellations received 60 days or more prior to departure will result in a full refund less the $100 per person deposit. Please Note: Once issued all air, train, ferry, cruise and express boat tickets are nonrefundable, but may be changed for a penalty. If the trip is cancelled between 59-30 days a 25% per person penalty will apply. Cancellations between 29-15 days will result in a penalty of 50% per person. All cancellations made 14 days prior to departure or less are non refundable. Runic Travels strongly urges clients to purchase Travel Insurance. Please contact our staff for more information.
Change fees:
Change fees of $50 per person will be charged once bookings have been confirmed, but prior to final documentation. Once final documents have been issued change fees will be $100 per person. No change fee will be assessed for upgrades or adding day tours prior to final documentation. No refund will be given to changes made by the client while in Scandinavia, this includes hotel changes.
Hotel Cancellations:
To prevent "no show" penalties any and all changes or cancellations must be received by Runic Travels a minimum of 3 business days prior to departing the United States. (This does not include weekends or holidays.)
Pricing:
Prices are in U.S. dollars and are listed as per person. Pricing does not include other land arrangements or services unless otherwise stated. Pricing does not include items of personal nature, such as laundry costs, liquor, beer or wine. All pricing is subject to change without notice. Pricing comes as a package price and can not be broken down.
Passports and Visas:
U.S. citizens must be in possession of a valid passport while traveling in Europe, with an expiration date of at least 6 months after scheduled departure date from Europe. Visas are not required for U.S. citizens visiting Scandinavia but are required for entering Russia. No refund will be made to clients, after booking, who can not obtain the appropriate documents.
Responsibility and Release of Liability:
All rates are subject to change. Runic Travels, its agents, employees, representatives, associated companies and travel agencies through which the package was booked, are not responsible for any breach of contract by service providers, which results in any loss, damage, or delay to you. Runic Travels, its agents, employees, representatives, suppliers and associated companies are not responsible in any way for any injuries, damages or losses caused to any traveler due to or in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest including strikes, mechanical or construction difficulties, disease, local laws, climactic conditions, Acts of God, Acts of Governments, de facto authority, war, theft, immigration or customs regulations, hijacking, error, omissions, or any other cause beyond Runic Travels' complete control. Runic Travels reserves the right to make changes, corrections, or cancellations without advance warning as necessary, including pricing. Runic Travels and its suppliers are released of all liability for consequences concerning conditions of health, safety, and fitness for any and all activities in which passengers participate. Any deposit for a tour or package will be considered as acceptance of these terms and conditions and therefore releases Runic Travels and it suppliers of any and all liability.
